About Me
ANNOUNCEMENT FOR BANDS: if you would like to inquire on setting up a show, please email me at LEAST a month and a half in advance. This will make sure I have adequate time to possibly find another band to play with you, flyer for the show, secure a date at a venue, and get all the other nick knacks squared away. If you would like to get added to a show, please note that if I already have two bands booked, chances are you wil not be paid due to budget restraints. But we'd love to hear you if that's not a problem.
Also, when posting show information on your profile, please provide the same times and show costs in your schedule as I have in mine to cut down on confusion.
ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE PUBLIC: 90% of my shows are All Ages, this is for everybody's enjoyment. If you choose to drink or do something of that nature, please be discreet and do it in the alley, or in your car. I could give two shits to the wind what you do, but God help you if you give any to a kid, you will be dealt with accordingly if you come inside and start shit, and for your own sake don't get caught. Don't drink and drive other you morons, there is such a thing as a cab if it were to get that point.
All information on this page is official. If a band has a different start time or price on their profile, disregard it. If you happen to see a band with incorrect info, please just tell me and I'll shoot them an email.
History:
Django Entertainment... weird name eh? Well, let me tell you a story that a little like Jello Pudding and Kodak film, if you know what I'm saying, about a a jazz guitarist named Django Reinhardt. In 1928, when he was just a wee boy of 18 living in a small home outside Paris, he was caught in a horrible fire that severly burned the right side of his body. His left hand and right leg were paralyzed. But, still determined and still strong, he continued to play his guitar with his partially crippled hand, and became one of the most famous jazz guitarists to date.Moral of the Story: With a little time, determination, and strength, you can accomplish anything.
And that is what I plan on doing. Anything and everything possible to bring a punk scene to Louisville to the likes that no one in this town has ever seen before. It's a realistic goal because the bar hasn't been set that high in the first place...
