I am here for Friends

About Me

If you've stumbled into my space, you must be a long nail lover. I have been for as long as I can remember, since being pre-school age. Don't ask me why, cuz I don't know. I have just always had an attraction to them. I always thought this made me weird, but now I know I'm weird for other reasons. With the internet, I have now found that there are many people just like me that have this attraction, most of them also from very young in childhood. All of us thought we were the only ones, and therefore, kept it pretty much secret from the world. For most, it is still pretty much a secret, but I try to compliment a woman with long nails as often as I can. Hopefully, that makes them feel better about their long nails, as most of them typically receive ridicule for their extra long nails. In December of 2007, my website, Nails-A-Lon.com turned 10 years old. It's amazing to think I've been running it that long, but yet it seems like it's always been there now. If you love long nails, swing over and check it out if you haven't already. If you are a woman with long nails, I would love to see some photos, and maybe even feature you on my website. It's all in good fun, and I do try to keep it clean. Now, I also have a professional side to my website, now that I'm a licensed nail tech. It's not a completed project yet, but you can look at some of the work I've done. Check it out at pro.nails-a-lon.com .

My Interests

Well, obviously, long nails, but other than that, I'm a big football fan. Go Steelers!

I'd like to meet:

Got long nails? I'd love to meet you!!Friend requests....I seem to get a lot of them, most from spammers, but I'm sure there are legitimate requests, also. My feeling about myspace friends is, friends are always friends, so if you want to request to be my friend, I'd like to hear a little from you. Tell me something about yourself. I tend to ignore friend requests from those that don't also send a message. I'm not being rude or stuck up. I just want to actually be friends, not just add another face to my collection.

Music:

Metal. I love the heavy bands like Metallica and Megadeth, but grew up with and still love the 80s metal bands.

Movies:

Comedies, action, drama. I don't really see the point of scary or slasher movies.

Television:

NFL Network, baby! Other than that, old reruns on TBS, TNT, movie channels, and maybe throw in Discovery Channel every now and then.I want to get on "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader", cuz I hardly ever miss a question.

Books:

What's a book? I'm not much into reading.

Heroes:

Ed.

Update on State Board

As expected, I passed my written portion of the State Board test.  I scored 91%, which is just about where I figured I'd be.  I was hoping for a little bit higher, but since I only needed 75...

Its all over

Well, last night, I graduated.  It was quite a celebration.  I had actually graduated one-and-a-half hours after I thought I was going to, but now that it's all over, it doesn't really matte...

This week, I had changed from nights to days.  I had to take vacation from work to do so, but it was worth it.  On nights, we are only in school for 5 hours.  On days, the days are 8 ho...
