Jubilee Multi-Cultural Arts Presents was created to introduce and host dancers, artist, musicians, and provide education in both traditional and contemporary multi-cultural and Latino art forms. At Jubilee we believe that one of the many ways we can unite is by sharing our culture through the artistic expressions of music and dance. Although officially established in 2003 , Jubilee has been a life long dream realized by one of its founders and now President, Judy Battista. *************************************************It began with a passion to express and share not only her own native Latino roots, but to extend and include other cultural and artistic art forms. Jubilee consists of many different areas. **************************************************THE LATIN JUBILEE RADIO SHOW: Is a bilingual radio show airing every Saturday on WTBQ FM 99.1 4:PM(EST) in the Hudson Valley and on the Internet hosted by Jubilee's Judy Battista Playing the best of Latin music, special guests interviews, and community announcements. Heard worldwide on Internet - www.wtbq.com ********************************************
***DANCE: Contemporary and Traditional Dance instructions for children through adults - Instructions are from Latin, American Ballroom, Mediterranean & Indian Dances, Spanish Folkloric, Argentine Tango, Contemporary Dances of Salsa, Hip-Hop and Modern Jazz. All our instructors are not only professional, but a dedicated and passionate team serious about our art form. We teach for both the social dancer and for the professional dance teams. Our dancers and teams are equally as passionate abut their dance form. As a dance company, we travel throughout Orange County, as well as perform in our yearly Recital/performance. We have a copyrighted play entitled "Jubilee's Journey - A play on Dance" which was written specifically for our Dance Jubilee. I really stress that we are more than just a dance company, but a family. **************************************************MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT: Introducing and showcasing musicians in local venues to include workshops, lessons, concerts, and social events featuring Latin Legends artist, and current disk Jockeys. We also act as liaison and agent for feature specialty bands, dancers, promotional company as well as customized party packages.******************************************CULTURAL EVENTS: For the best in entertainment, Dance performances, Social Events, Organizational functions and Fundraisers, Jubilee Performers are available to customize and demonstrate a variety of art forms representing different genres in music and Dance. ***************************************************COMMUNITY
INVOLVEMENT: Jubilee prides itself in being a viable part of the community by integrating with local business, organizations, non-profits, church, civic groups in order to network, support, sponsor, and volunteer to help bring cultural awareness, respect and positive involvement. In addition to being contracted for community performances, all our social dance classes volunteer on a regular basis. One of our highlights is our young group of children and teens who are involved in Latin Folkloric dancing which fosters pride of their individual background and teaches them about their heritage. Our dance teams are sought after by community groups to be positive role models to other young people and/or specialty groups.We are still growing and I am very proud to be part of a growing community of friends, artists, and committed individuals within the Arts.
