Ben is excitement

I live in the ever-evolving landscape of Los Angeles, the most vast and consummately interesting and weird city in America.Also empathy...I've been thinking a lot about empathy lately (this should probably be a blog entry). So I'm moving to downtown Los Angeles, which is something that I've thought about and craved for about a year and a half now. Downtown represents to me a place where people share the sidewalks, a place where people aren't confined to the bubble of their vehicle. It's a place where you are forced to deal with your neighbor, to smell your neighbor. I think that these are steps toward increasing communication and understanding between people with disregard to differences and ESPECIALLY economic stratification. When we deal with each other, HOPEFULLY, we will start to empathize with one another.
