Bevis Griffin (Austin Texas Musician/Vocalist/Songwriter/Drummer). Born April 26, 1953, Bevis is one of Austin Texas's premier musicians and has been performing there for over 30 years and was one of the earliest pioneers of the Austin Rock Music scene. Bevis has performed with numerous groups over the years such as Franklin's Mast, Fools, The Skyscrapers, The Bats, The Shades, Banzai Kik, Chill Factor, Dino Lee's Luv Johnson, The Cosmopolitians, One Fell Swoop, Papa Mali & the Instigators, The Paradigm, and last but not least, Bevis & the Painkillers... A historical music and performing legend, Bevis has been honored and given the keys to The City Of Austin and still tours and performs regularly with some of the most profound musicians of today including world reknown rock guitarist John Staehely.
