Born and raised in the heart of the Sucka Free, Lansky is one of the city’s rising Hip-Hop artists. Funneling his experiences and tribulations growing up in San Francisco’s South of Market district into his lyrics gives him a distinct sound and delivery. His style cannot be categorized to a specific style of Hip Hop, but can be described as a combination of Street and Strife with a Positive outlook.
Lansky first put a pen to the pad at 17. His first musical appearance was with Sons of Funk, an extension of the Bigg Knutt Funk family. Fast foward to the present Lansky begins his solo career offering up his talent to voice the pain and beauty of what he's endured growing up in one of the grimiest hoods in the city.
He presently hosts and performs for One Mic - a Hip Hop open mic event with Shot'a Hannessey Productions every third Wednesday of the month. He has now established his own label, Tenemental Music which released the “SOMArketable†mixtape earlier this year.
Lansky is actively seeking producers and artists to connect and expand with creatively.
