Hiking, mountain biking with my hubby, taking walks with my dog Lillie, camping, hanging out with family and friends, traveling (Greece is the #1 destination), decorating things, entertaining people, the sound of rain and wind in the trees, Saturday morning at about 10am, getting an unexpected phone call, laughing, being sarcastic, seeing someone you haven't seen in years, drawing things, taking long drives, holding hands, being a neat freak, dancing like no one is watching, hugging, snuggling, loud noises, talking to someone that is actually listening, and most importantly...taking care of people, and taking care of myself by drinking alcoholic beverages.
I would love to meet my mother's father, my great-grandmother, and the Dali Lama. All 3 in the same place would be interesting. I also like to meet nice people.
Yep. This world would be awful quiet without it. I like pretty much anything but to name a few...The Grateful Dead, Phish, MMW, The Beatles, Allman Brothers, Bob Marley, 311, Led Zeppelin, Paul Simon, Sarah McLaughlin, The Black Crowes, Bela Fleck, Pink Floyd, David Grisman, Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Allison Krauss, Rusted Root, The Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, etc...I also love listening to 100.3 on Friday nights because they play cool 70's/disco music.
Yep, like them too. I really don't like bloody movies. They're gross. My favorite type of movie is a psychological thriller. I also thoroughly enjoyed Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, all the Bourne movies, Dodgeball, Anchorman, Almost Famous, Napolean Dynomite, Star Wars (duh), Lord of the Rings, Little Miss Sunshine, Finding Nemo, The Royal Tenenbaums, Sideways, 40 year old Virgin, The Aviator, Hotel Rwanda, anything with Dave Chapelle, Walk the Line, Indiana Jones movies, just to name a few...
I truly hate reality TV, but it sucks me in. On the brighter side, I love Grey's Anatomy, The Soprano's, and Scrubs is THE funniest show out there. Weeds is pretty entertaining as well. The British version of The Office is much better than the American, by the way. I greatly enjoy Planet Earth (well anything on the Discovery Channel), America's Funniest Home Videos, and Animal Planet. The Travel Channnel is cool to watch, and so is HGTV. OK, I guess I do watch my share of TV.
The only thing that I have read for the past 2 and a half years has been related to nursing. Other than that, I like a good mystery. The DaVinci Code is the best book I've read in quite a while.
My husband. He truly does have a wonderful life story. I look up to him with the utmost respect!
