Soul singer "Veronique" explodes onto the scene with her debut gospel-house single, “Use Me.†The 12-inch vinyl contains three infectious mixes, each produced by legendary Detroit House producer, Aaron-Carl.
Comparable to other House divas like Dajae, Kim English or Ultra Nate’, Veronique ‘s earthy yet powerful voice has that “old soul†feeling. You can’t help but be moved. Her musical influences include gospel legends Kim Burrell, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Yolanda Adams, as well as R&B/Soul icons Chaka Khan, Stephanie Mills and Patti Labelle.Born in Maryland, raised in Detroit, Veronique's musical gifts were evident at a very young age. A self-taught keyboardist since the age of 3, she began singing in her church choir at the age of 4. Eventually, Veronique moved on to direct the choir, and now serves as the Minister of Music for her church.“Recording this song with Veronique was a divine experience,†says Aaron-Carl. He was so moved by her vocals, he states “I literally cried.â€200 Limited Edition copies will be available before its official worldwide release on Wallshaker Music.
