people who just like having fun.
..
Are you tired of all those sissy-ass "friendship" poems that always sound good, but never actually come close to reality? Well, here is a series of promises that really speaks to true friendship:
1. When you are sad - I will help you get drunk and revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad.
2. When you are blue - I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
3. When you smile - I will know you finally got laid.
4. When you are scared - I will rag on you about it every chance I get.
5. When you are worried - I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be and to quit whining.
6. When you are confused - I will use small words.
7. When you are sick - Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.
8. When you fall - I will point and laugh at your clumsy ass.
This is my oath...I pledge it till the end. "Why?" you may ask, because you are my friend. Send this to 10 of your closest friends, then get depressed because you can only think of 4. Remember: A good friend will help you move. A really good friend will help you move a body. Let me know if I ever need to bring a shovel.
I read this article that said the typical symptoms of stress are:
eating too much, impulse buying, and driving too fast.
Are they kidding? That is my idea of a perfect day!
Man, I see in fight club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.
-Tyler Durden
"if worst comes to worst, we're screwed" - Steven Wright
TOOL, mudvayne, slipknot, audioslave, breaking benjamin, cold, staind, a perfect circle, system of a down, static-x... to name a few.
im not all about metal though... my musical preferences have changed quite a bit over the years. i do enjoy a lot of lighter stuff like green day, ccr, nirvana, smashing pumpkins, linkin park, flogging molly, rhcp, and quite a variety of other genres (no rap/hiphop/pop). i grew up listening to country when i was much younger, so i still like some of it (not a whole lot though, haha).
oh god, where to start... i like so many movies.
mostly i like comedies and action/adventure/sci-fi. i'll kill a few hours watching movies, that's fine with me.
Fight Club. Boondock Saints. Star Wars. Pirates of the Caribbean. I, Robot. Die Hard. Batman Begins. Road Trip. Spaceballs. the list just goes on...
i love watching Futurama, Family Guy, American Chopper, Monster Garage, American Hotrod, and a few other shows. i like watching comedies and cartoons.
now if only i got decent chanels, haha.
my two favorite books of all time are The Death And Life of Superman, and Ender's Game.
my family for sure... also, my friends.
