American Silhouettes is calling for everyone with something to say to our "democratic" government. These are rough times and we've witnessed the progression in the direction we're all afraid of. It's time to do something more than buying a bumper sticker or wearing a t-shirt. Organization is what we lack to inform them that this is OUR country.
This film is not about who says what, It's about what's being said. We must unite as one voice if we want to be heard.
There are 3 ways to get involved and ultimately be heard. If you have something to say but don't want to say it, write it and send it in. If you have something to say and want to personally say it, send it in. If you would like to read something that someone else wrote, let me know. Try to keep it poetic and heartfelt. I want to avoid the stereotypes of Republican vs Democrat, black vs white, gay vs straight, christian vs athiest. If we don't come together as one and do something now, who knows what our children will be left with.
This film will be a sort of poetic video petition to our American government letting them know how we feel about the decisions they've made.
