Well Godz Is a Jamaican Rapper--born, raised and still living in Jamaica. Godz Started writing poems at the tender age of just 7, but it was not until he was 12 he started writing rap. It all started at Holy Trinity high School where Godz met another student by the name of Alex, they met when Alex was freestyling in a classroom. Godz then told Alex that he could rap too and so he proved him self to him at another freestyling session, quickly the two became close friends and formed a group dubbed Gang Of Five with Fabian Hopson, Sheldon Levy and Mitchell. These other three members of the group wasn’t rappers themselves but were just in the group because of their close friendship with Godz and Alex now renamed Lex. Well over the years Lex and Godz Wrote hundreds of songs together and also started their own label, which was called World Wide Ent. After high school the two still contacted each other often until they lost connection sometime in 2004 up until now. After going with out Lex for a year Godz started to write more and more thus improving his total status as a real potential Jamaican rapper. He then started to work with a group called the Saga Family, which contained another Jamaican rapper by the name of Smoke. He then started working with his long time close friend by the name of French, it was French who then gave him the contacts to another long time friend by the name of Hydro who was originally from Bronx in New York. Well he then recorded a couple song with Smoke along with the rest of the Saga Family and Hydro These songs then caught the ear of Gigga who then introduce the materials to a label executive he knew in Kingston by the name of Oliver Panton. Oliver Panton is The C.E.O and President for Mojams ENT. A new Jamaican record label whose aim is to take real Jamaican Hip Hop to the international markets. Oliver had started working with a few other Jamaican rappers like Tony Fisher among others. He then started to work with Godz, Smoke And M. $. Godz is now in contractual negotiation with Mojams, so until everything is finalized he will then start to work on his much anticipated debut album entitled "The Unknown"
