Sterling Koch

I am currently a session steel guitarist available to provide some red hot slide guitar licks for your recording. I have 3 recording projects of my own including the bands "61 South," "Victory In Heaven Blues Band" and "V.I.H." In 2004 I suffered a herniated disk in my neck forcing me to switch from conventional 6 string guitar, which I had played for over 30 years, to 8 string lap steel guitar. I continue to teach over 25 guitar and bass lessons per week from my 24 track digital (ADAT) home studio, I am also Music Director at Salem U.M.C. Church in Orwigsburg, PA and lead worship music at 2 church services every Sunday for a local church. I am blessed to have the support of my amazing wife Mary who happens to be my best friend, number 1 fan and administrator of this myspace. I have 2 great daughters (one an awesome bassist and one an awesome mom), a terrific son-in-law and 2 grand daughters who keep their mom on her toes.
