I am here for Friends

About Me

..I toyed about in the Philippines for years, the Denver area for a while, & poked around in Spokane a bit. Seattle has been a home away from home & I tried out the plastic wonderland of L.A. for far too long, yet was raised in The Garden City, Missoula, Montana. Conceived & born in Bavaria, the Zoo will always be home. My passion for bicycles exceeds what most can fathom. I've been adventuring on bikes since forming my first memories. Pedaling all over mountain trails revs me up like only one other recreation can! Ah-HEM! Howling out wild Tarzan calls from mountain tops defines me. Being a former Marine and a current Wild Land Firefighter requires passion. Passion in all things I do is very much a definition of me. Do we grow older or up? Laughing to tears with sublime friends is the best. Music freakin' grooves me - my stylee. I'm a death defier in disguise. Dogs lick my face & cats know I'm smarter than them. I love all animals...even you! Perhaps one day I'll decipher my werewolf dream in which my lovelorn goddess is just beyond my grasp. I despise thieves, ghetto fucked up dumb-asses, backstabbin' wussies & political correctness...although I do believe in tolerance & acceptance. I'm not nearly as tidy as I once was; the little things just don't matter anymore, but they used to...to the bitter end (ocd?). Distant train sounds relax me while I lay alone in bed. Frolicking naked in frigid lakes is a spice of life...or just frolicking naked! “All I know I know is I know that I know a whole lotuvva buncha nuthin!” Each day is an experience from which to grow. Karma IS SOOO real. All I expect of my flesh & bones is my best effort & to shine brilliantly along the way. ~Michaelborn 9.14.66Missoulaalways lock your bike!Claddagh Ring

My Interests

Riding mountain bikes all crazy, helping people, singing, Frisbee, sleeping, not sleeping, dancin' & bouncin', being flirty-n-dirty, backpacking, skiing, not cooking, the four seasons but mainly summer, lakes, mountains, going really fast in or on anything for the thrill of it, reciprocative connections with groovy cool radmeisters, outdoor adventure in general, dogs (someday again), against the grain dares, & decadent recreational debauchery.Celtic Triskelion

I'd like to meet:

She's the wildly witty & scary fun perfectly imperfect one. bring your game!let's groove it - yeah! It'd be cool meeting Jim & Jenny.

Music:

People, places & things turned me on to the mad tuneage I'm inspired by: Fu Manchu, The Offspring, Pennywise, Stabbing Westward & The Dreaming, King Moxy, Nirvana, Methods of Mayhem, UK Subs, Minor Threat, Nitzer Ebb, Benny Benassi, Jet, Regurgitator, Ministry, Click-Click, Front 242, BUSH or INSTITUTE, Wolfsheim, Garbage, Shelter, Billy Idol, NOFX, Rancid, 311, Mindless Self Indulgence, old INXS, Lady Sinatra, Simple Minds, P.I.L., Bouncing Souls, Wicked Stitch, Mudhoney, Lost Leader, Alice in Chains, Three Days Grace, The Intergalactic Chamber, Deftones, Buckcherry, Korn, A Perfect Circle, The Specials, Suicidal Tendencies, Horny Toad, Louis XIV, Jane's Addiction, Porno For Pyros, RHCP, Oingo Boingo, Powerman 5000, Mudvayne, Saliva, Godsmack, Scorpions, Green Day, old Van Halen, Cheech & Chong, Grinspoon, Depeche Mode, Beastie Boys, Cake, Unwritten Law, Beck, VooDooGlowSkulls, Operation Ivy, Modern English, Oasis, Collective Soul, Candlebox, & SO many more killer bands like Sublime or Incubus get me in my groove.Stones in The Zoo The stage was built by my friends at Rhino.I met Kurt...he was cool; My brother has the same name.

Movies:

For instance: Roam bikin' tracks, Snatch, 300, Formula 51, Crouching Tiger - Hidden Dragon, Boogie Nights, Jim Carrey flicks, What Dreams May Come, Vanilla Sky (still can't figure it out), Barfly, Bruce Lee flicks, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Underworld, Black Snake Moan, Cinderella Man, old James Bond, Austin Powers, The Way of the Gun, The Game, comedy, drama, adventure, mysticism shit.

Television:

I'd rather be takin' a huge digger than staring mindlessly at idiot box oblivion...

Books:

Mostly bicycle mags...but reading "Gates of Fire" was captivating. "The Secret Language of Birthdays" is cosmically stimulating. I need to read "Patient Heal Thyself: A Remarkable Health Program Combining Ancient Wisdom With Groundbreaking Clinical Research". "Of Wolves and Men" opens my mind. My favorite books are "The Seat of the Soul" by Gary Zukav, or Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, ca. 1977. Kids, pay more attention to the dictionary (Ex: You're and Your; It's and Its; They're, Their and There; Who's and Whose, etc...)! It's the Virgo in me - deal with it. :)

Heroes:

My dad, Sonny, shown with actress Sandra Locke, above, while recovering in a U.S. Army hospital, in Japan, upon "taking one for the team" via one 7.62mm AK-47 round tearing through his spine, "Eat your heart out, Clint Eastwood!"), my dead dog Gunther, Bad-Ass Brigette, Jim Carrey, Elvis, Outstanding Jarheads, and my friend Evel Knievel who grew up with my dad in Butte, America.

My Blog

Ankles

So, yeah...playing with friends and their dogs, Spatz The Dog, in particular, Bret, Luke &  Kimberli, and The Rickster, while chasing old doggie Spatz off Bret's porch, I rolled my right ankl...
