Present: 6th Sea Of Aeon v. Tapirus Terrestris
Past: Naamah, Pro-Fans, Exlibris.
I play guitar since 1995 or sth. ;) After playing with some totally amateur bands I decided to create another one ;) And so it began - the band called Melankolia evolved into Naamah - starting from doom/gothic metal and turning with time into the progressive rock/metal act. With Naamah I've recorded demo called "Magia" and three LPs: "Naamah" (self released, 2000), "Ultima" (Metal Mind Productions, 2003) and "Resensement" (Metal Mind Productions, 2004). We have also recorded some songs for compilations etc. Naamah has never achieved commercial success but the music (especially "Resensement") gained really good opinions across the media - from e-zines to the "serious" printed musical magazines all around the world. We have played some nice gigs (e.g. during Polish leg of The Gathering's "Souvenirs Tour", with The 69 Eyes or at the Castle Party Festival). In 2005 I've left the band. Naamah still works on a new material and I can't wait to hear them again :) Check the url: naamah.pl .
Just after quitting Naamah I played one and only show with the special "Warsaw-underground-all-stars-cover-band", called Pro-Fans but this was only this one special gig when we played some songs by Alice In Chains, Rammstein, XIII Stoleti and many more ;) And my need for something new was still growing. The next step in my musical life was a drone-ambient project called 6th Sea of Aeon v. Tapirus Terrestris. Our sounds are hard to describe (and to call it "music" ;)) but if you're not affraid, feel free to check this project's MySpace: myspace.com/6vT and enjoy our dark drones! We're currently looking for an opportunity to release this stuff finally - on CD or limited vinyl :)
Later, after some smaller co-operations and projects, I've joined the Warsaw based heavy metal band Exlibris as the guitar player. We used to play together almost a year but this wasn't exactly what I'm lookin' for. Some good gigs, a lot of fun and I've left the band. But I'm still a fan of them :) Here comes another link: exlibrisband.com .
And another musical "face" of mine - sometimes I turn into the classical 80's pop/rock DJ in some Warsaw clubs :) Together with DJ Vommbath we are trying to keep the idea of Blooregard Q. Kazoo alive. As he said: "this will be the wildest, partiest, housiest house party this house has ever partied!" - that's what the "Elektrik Cirkus" parties are intended to be ;)
Equipment: Ibanez RG, Hughes&Kettner preamp, Soudman Twin Fifty amplifier, Lexicon processor with Digitech foot controller, custom cabinet (Eminence equipped), some cables, picks, tuner and additional stuff (like E-Bow, bottle necks, AA battery and so on;)).
