No Man Stranger is style diversity. Blending a wide range of genres and influences to create their own unique sound, they can move crisply from tight modern rock to adrenalized funk to a catchy original best described as “AC/DC-meets-Bluegrass.†All in their 30’s, the bandmates are veterans to gigging and recording. Each member was a college music major, and two of them have audio production experience – enough to self-produce their 2007 EP, “The Metro Sessions.â€
Formed in early 2007, No Man Stranger has played some of the major venues in Minneapolis, including The 400 Bar, Lee’s Liquor Lounge, and The Fine Line Music Café. Their fan base grows locally and across state lines with their fresh, original music and their fun and funky live show.
Brothers Andy and Anthony Prickette bring an interesting story of cross-country separation to finally play in a band together. They form a solid and intuitive rhythm section with active, creative bass lines, and a technical yet flavorful style to the drum kit. Vocalist Peter O'Gorman’s gritty, soulful voice and reflective lyrics weave seamlessly with guitarist Scott Novak’s colorful, melodic guitar lines to form layered harmonies within a focused yet funky groove.
With a modern sound and mature songwriting, combined with impressive performance skills and unique synergy among members, No Man Stranger flat out rocks... Join their journey as they continue to write and tour in 2008 and beyond!

Bass Player Andrew Prickette has performed with the Monterey Jazz Festival in Japan as well as a host of other great musicians including: Rosemary Clooney, Bobby McFerrin, The Four Freshmen, and numerous other studio musicians. He has also studied under Mimi Fox - one of the most ground-breaking and innovative female jazz guitar players currently working today's West Coast scene.
Percussionist Anthony Prickette brings a highly skilled snare and technical yet flavorful flair to the drum kit. His Music Degree from UW-Oshkosh got him started in popular Oshkosh WI band Babel Fish, then later joined California band Slumberjack and Indy band Bonehorse.
Guitarist Scott Novak's melodic and funky savvy led him to Oshkosh where he studied Music and Audio Production, and joined Oshkosh WI bands Johnny's Drunken Stupor and Babel Fish. He later joined experimental California band pH3 before moving back to the midwest to recapture the enjoyment of a fun music scene.
Vocalist Peter O'Gorman's signature vocal style and passionate delivery began in Minneapolis band The Hundredth Monkey. His penchant for pistols makes him a helluva band mate to take on the road!
