EIGHTYSIX, producer of KAT DELUNA - DANCE BAILALO

Eightysix, whose birth name is Andras Vleminckx was born in Belgium to two brilliant pianists. Through his parents, Andras was exposed to a world of classical music which allowed him to explore his own talents at a very early age. During his childhood Andras taught himself how to play the piano and shortly after showed an aptitude for the drums. Through his exploration of music he began to create melodies and learn how to compose and blend them with rhythms using a groove box. By age 14 Andras had become heavily submerged in his craft switching over to electronic software and turning to DJ’ing to further expand his knowledge of music.
Andras continued to DJ at nightclubs throughout Belgium for several years and also worked on different side projects such as the Mercedes Benz mix tapes and podcasts.It was only after producing the Belgian hit single “Cheat on You” (Kaye Styles) that he decided to leave DJ’ing behind and concentrate solely on producing music. He created the production duo named “WEPRODUCETHEM” which he worked under with Chris Fabich for some time. In 2005 Andras teamed up with “NUTCITY SEVEN” and started the production duo sensation known as “SEVEN and EIGHTYSIX” which released an album titled “The Campaign” via the web which is currently available in iTunes.
In October of 2008 Andras met with Tyrone Edmond and Kat DeLuna in Belgium, and has since signed with Global Music Brand, a production label which Edmond is CEO of. Since entering the GMB family Andras has become the leading producer on Kat DeLuna’s sophomore album “Inside Out” (GMB/Universal Motown) which is set to release early Fall 2009, and has also produced the lead single from the album titled “Dance, Bailalo”. Of his musical talents Edmond states, “ I understand his global style. It’s hard now a days to find producers with that appeal. I took him under my wing and together we are going to deliver good music to the world!” Kat DeLuna adds, “What I like most about him (Eightysix) is when you give him an idea he turns it in to exactly what you need. Together we have created a soun d that no other producer could have given me for this album. I can truly say I have a lane now.” Eightysix has also captured the attention of record label executives and entertainment heavy hitters. Perez Hilton deemed "Dance, Bailalo" a "Summer Anthem" adding "(Dance, Bailalo is) one of the most scorching dance singles we've heard all year!" Chris Anokute, Head of A&R Capitol Records describes his sound as, “A young Dr. Luke meets Max Martin. He is the future.”
Through all of his experience and musical background Eightysix has truly mastered the art of production and is on the road to becoming the next super producer in the industry.
