Sunday Gigs was formed in the summer of 2007 in the Stockholm suburb of Nacka in Sweden by one of the guitarists Carl Jirlow. After a couple of sets of members Carl's brother Tom joined, and the rock/pop/glam band Sunday Gigs achieved the perfect line-up. The band now consists of four members: Carl Jirlow (Guitar, Vocals), Tom Jirlow (Guitar, Vocals), Benjamin Lavén(Bass, Vocals), Svante Harrie Burman (Drums).
The band has been playing gigs frequently for the last months, and things have been a success. Some gigs worth mentioning are for example that the band has reached the semi finals of the world wide Emergenza Festival. The band has also been playing gigs at, amongst others, famous Stockholm clubs like Mosebacke and Stampen. Sunday Gigs write, produce, arrange and record all of their material.
