P.M.I. was born in a Nigerian village called Ututu. His family left Africa when he was three in search of better opportunities for him and his siblings. He was raised on Savannah Georgia's Southside. Growing up his parents exposed him to a broad spectrum of music, but he was most intrigued by rap music's similarities to poetry. As a child he would often win art contests as well as poetry contests. His teachers were often charmed by his many talents and his natural intellect. He was voted most likely to succeed by his senior class. He went on to college but was overwhelmed by his passion to pursue music and soon left. Ever since the 2001 release of his solo debut "Consequencez -N- Reprocussionz", P.M.I. has been a major player on the music scene in Savannah GA. His high energy performances and on stage charisma have helped solidify his status as a local superstar. His distinct tone and surprising eloquence have made it easy for him to stand out amongst the wave of aspiring artists. Having released six impressive albums to date, his consistency has made him a fan favorite and his base continues to grow. His most recent release "Savannahmosity" has been well received nationally. Always business minded, P.M.I. prides himself on professionalism. This has made his Unleashed Entertainment brand one of the most well respected and talked about independent labels in the Savannah region. As talented a producer as an artist he continues to set the bar in Savannah and has become one of the most sought after producers in his local region. P.M.I. regards himself as a dynamic artist and doesn't like to be categorized. He has proven to be an impressive songwriter attracting the attention of a few majors. P.M.I. says his musical aspirations are limitless. He's looking for a situation that will allow him to grow beyond being an artist and to one day become a mogul.
