Then click the subscribe with itunes button and automatically download new mixes when I post them. Send me a message or comment and let me know what you think of the mixes!

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: www.djlucasperkins.podomatic.com
Band Members: Until the Monkey learns how to work the crossfader its just me
Influences: What I've been listening to the longest is mostly punk, ska, and alternative. NOFX, Face to Face, Strung Out, Operation Ivy, Rancid, Pennywise, Less Than Jake, Skankin Pickle, Might Mighty Bosstones, The Queers, Screaching Weasel, Wizo (i don't care if it's in german they rock!), Mustard Plug, The Specials, The Toasters, and other similar stuff along with all the alternative that any kid born in '80 would listen to. I also love hip hop even though I don't spin it, buying records from one genre is expensive enough. I'm not big on alot of the shit on the radio, but i dig the underground - The Perceptionists, Heiroglyphics, Jedi Mind Tricks, J5, Little Brother and the whole WJLR Family, rjd2, mf doom, dangermouse, De La Soul, Swollen Members, Mos Def, Cannibus, and generally anything that knocks and has something to say other than how much bling, bitches, or bodies you got (ugh). As far as electronic/dance music, I like it all. Good mixing and moving tracks are what gets me going. A few of my favorite dj's and producers are Danny Howells, Sasha, John Digweed, Deep Dish, Steve Porter, Dave Ralph, Ali Ajami, James Lavelle, Seb Fontaine, Timo Maas, Tiesto, PVD, Oakenfold, Richie Hawtin, Ashley Casselle, Nick Warren, Way Out West, Orbital, Micro, Dieselboy, AK1200, Luke Chable, Dave Seaman, Satoshie Tomiie, Evil 9, Plump DJs, Chemical Bros, Chab, Donald Glaude, Dj Dan and many many more.
