Lets see, about me....well I didn't always know I would be a photographer. I've always been obsessed with art, interior design, and well all things beautiful....so maybe that's how I've ended up here...Or it could be my love for my daughter and how I don't want to miss one second of her life!!!! I'm really not sure when or where my "Aha" moment was I just know I've ALWAYS wanted to do this and so oneday I decided to. I do remember as a child going to Disney World or the beach and I would come home with ROLLS of film. My mother would get so mad after she spent a few days of her pay to get them all developed and it was lovely pictures of landscape, animals, and Mickey Mouse :) (thanks Mom for still always have them developed), she would say to me, "Tonya just put someone in them, someone I know." :) So here I am doing the same things I've always done, only I'm trying to put someone in them :). I can't explain it but Photography fills my soul! It could be because I'm seeing a newborn's first smile, a new bride's tears of joy, or that certain sparkle in a little girls eyes that could light the world!!!!!! Whatever it is, I LOVE IT!!!!!! I reside in Hartselle, Alabama and am an on-location photographer only. I love being able to capture children and families in their element or at their favorite family spot. I also love getting caught up in the smiles...what a gift from God...the joy, happiness, and love that is shared in just a single smile is amazing! Life is made up of memories and in my opinion those memories can be frozen in time by art. It's funny how a single portrait can take you right back to that moment in time.
