About Me

Risucci Bros. Productions was established in 2003 with our first script, the hour-long teen drama "Life Of My Own" (M. Risucci/C. Risucci/J. Ciccarone). "LOMO" was an edgy teen drama set in 1988 NYC, and was heralded for its realism in dealing with topics like sex, drugs, and teen angst. It was written as a cable drama and pitched to HBO by Camile Cerio at Leverage (Entourage) While HBO loved the writing, they passed claiming to not "do" teen drama. In 2004, "LOMO" got life again, this time being developed by the team of Linda Berman and Jo Levy (ABC)for Network TV. The result was "Upper West", an A-Typical Teen Drama that really didn't do its predecessor justice. The First three episodes of the un-cut, un-edited version of "Life Of My Own" is available to read. Our next project was a departure, the Commercial Review show "While You Were Flipping" (2004). A tasty little morsel of a show that helped viewers digest those pesky :30 ads that interrupt every day TV viewing. Unlike most Commercial Review Shows, "...Flipping" presented three distinct opinions from the left, right, and center on just what and who was doing what in these ads, and more importantly why? This show was received very well by producers, but was ultimately seen as a controversy by Network heads afraid to step on the toes of potential advertisers. The Test Pilot for "While You Were Flipping" is available to view.2005 was the year of the sitcom at Risucci Bros. "The Smiths" (C. Risucci/T. Caprio) was the first; a hillarious "Golden Girls meets Sopranos" type two camera sitcom that followed the lives of four mafia bosses forced to live together in the witness protection program. This is the script that got us in the door at CAA (Tony Etz)and is currently available to read. The second of our sitcoms was "Ballz Out" the zany comedy about the son of a hall of fame broadcaster struggling to follow in his father's footsteps. This script was developed for comedian The Greg Wilson, and spent time at Comedy Central and FX. It is also currently available to read/option.In 2006, Risucci Bros. Productions members took a moment to pursue individual passion projects. Joe began writing "The Bostonian", a gritty crime story from 1980s Boston, and Christopher wrote and produced his first major ..ary for Pepperdine University and PBS, "The Parkening Interntational Guitar Competition", an HD, Surround 5.1 doc. surrounding the Parkening's Inagural year. --THE PARKENING INTERNATIONAL GUITAR COMPETITION ..ARY was a big success. Thanks to all who tuned in to PBS to view. The next Parkening doc. has been slated for May 2009!This year, Risucci Bros. Productions is proud to offer "The Stumps", a comedy in the vain of "Stripes" and Police Academy" that tells one man's personal Iraq War Story. It is silly, yet profound, and is something that hasn't been done, a rarity in Hollywood. The script is currently being championed by Jason Smilovic (Lucky Number Slevin)Currently, Risucci Bros. Productions is proud to be collaborating with MYA Productions (Hollywood Hootch Vaudeville Variety Show- 2004-06) on a Paranormal spoof entitled "LAPS" The show is a hysterically chilling webshow that promises to keep it simple, and still provide plenty of un-expected paranormal phenomena. The project is currently in the last phases of post production and will be available to view, first at festival, then on the internet. Stay posted here! See the Coming Soon Trailer Below!
