About Me

Myspace Layout Generator by LayoutGeneratorMyspace.com
Why Not is a high energy blues/classic rock band. Since we (Andy Greb & Nick Dubois) started in the winter of ‘06, Why Not has played several shows with a growing fan base and has an always increasing repertoire. We preform songs by such artists as: Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Tom Petty, Neil Young, Howlin’ Wolf, AC/DC, Talking Heads, Allman Bros, Rory Gallagher, Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper and many more. Although Why Not plays songs by other bands we never play a song the same way twice. When live we try to feed off the adrenalin that the stage provides and use it to create the sound of the show. In addition to covers we are adding soulful originals to our sets and always writing new material. It’s been our passion alone that acts as our driving force. We love music, everything about it. It’s our outlet when things are bad, our celebration when things go well. Our sound is raw, pure and honest, we use minimal effects. We love to play and love to play live, talking to everyone we can, making new friends and continuing on our infinite quest for knowledge.
