Growing up amongst the glitz and glamour of home
theatre shows and make believe musicals, Alyssa
Venning was destined for a life on stage. Beginning as
a little ballerina, she quickly found her way to the
theatre stage, performing with companies such as
Shopfront Theatre, PACT Theatre, and Sydney Theatre
Company. When the longing for more set in, she ran
away from home to concentrate on something much more
important - the circus. Feeling a natural connection
to the well known hula hoop, Alyssa found herself
spinning them right, right round..all the time! She
soon started entertaining at parties and corporate
events, for companies such as Suncorp, Hardware House
and Telstra, and sharing her talents with the likes of
Vulcana Women's Circus and Flipside Circus, as well as
performing at local festivals such as the Brisbane
Festival Racecourse Road Street Party and Pride
Festival.
Alyssa's passion and wacky hula hooping ways continue
to develop, as she lets her awesomness slide yonder to
countries such as the USA and Canada.
So next time you see an energetic young lass with a
big cheesy smile and a bunch of hula hoops in tow,
don't hesitate to let your imagination run wild with
the possibilities of tricks that these
magical entertainment devices can behold!
