Timo Pudas

I was born Jan 5th in Vaasa.. well that’s enough for my early childhood. I started playing piano at age of 12 with retired cantor who lived next to our house. I played classical piano with him for 4 years but when I was 16 I started to practise rock and pop keyboard playing on myself. I listened to great rock and pop records and tried to play things that I heard from them. Later I got interested in heavier rock bands but at the same time I wanted to know more about synthesizers, computers and electronic music. I’m interested in combining synthesizers and modern electronic styles with rock music and you can hear my playing in Urban Tale albums. There will also be heavier approach to the subject when we find singer to our new experimental rock group Der Schmeissel.
I’m working as a professional freelance keyboard player and you can find my bands with links to their sites on the left side of this page. I also do synthesizer programming for all kind of projects and study medicine at University of Helsinki which takes most of my time at the moment.
