hi, hey its me, robyn,i'm from the old school. I am a recording Artist for many years with Caprice Records at The Rockmill Recording Studio's in Lititz, Pa.Now also Canadian American Records~ my producer, Joey Welz played keys with bill haleys Comets and also worked with Elvis's back up band! He did some recordings at Sun Studio's in memphis, pretty cool! i love classic rock and roll. i love the band Deep Purple and Rush and of course: Ozzy and Led Zep!! LOVED Ike and Tine Turner Revue!! I grew up on them too!! "Rollin on the River"!! I Love the band HEART!! Ann and Nancy ROCK!! i saw them 5 times in concert. Motown was what i was raised on but, I love the The Supremes, The Temps and the Four Tops too!! I met The Temps and Four Tops! They were awsome! I just LOVE all music!! B.B. King is a great inspiration to me as well. I met him in 1997 and of course, Lucille! I was also inspired greatly by Madonna, i love all her music! i am trying to learn to play the bass now. i have a great daughter who is also on myspace and she is really cool and talented. go check out alex wolf page. she's so funny! we both live in n.c. she's the love of my life. I love Alex!! i sang in 8 rock bands since age 17.The first band was a disco band back in 1977 called "Jade" we had alotta fun then, my first rock band was called "High Risk",it was a cover band . we did alot of zeppelin, Rush, Heart, Benatar,bad co., Ted Nugent,Blondie,ect. i played NY clubs, like CBGB's. New York city(no longer there) I moved to New york in 1981 to follow my heart and a dream to be a famous singer and hooked up with a rock band we played in the city.i was at "Catch a rising Star" one night doing an open mic nite, it was really cool, oh,by the way, Pat Benatar got noticed there. she played there often before she became famous. the band i hooked up with, we used to play in front of madison square garden and make money thrown in a guitar case. crowds of people used to gather all around. it was really cool. I met tony bonjovi,(john bonjovi's uncle one night while i played a concert at the Village night club in lancaster ,pa and he told me to come up to new york to visit the studio,which i did, Power station recording studios(Chrysalis Records) i missed meeting the band Blondie by one week.(i did however meet her drummer, clem burke at cbgb's) i met a band called The Baby's. Also, i met and partied with the rock band"Nazareth"!man, they rocked! i also played at the White House in d.c in 1989 at the Easter Egg Roll. Christopher Reeves, the actor, was there as a guest speaker. He was so nice. I am with Canadian/American Records under since 1990. i have recorded over 25 songs in the studio under this label. my songs were shopped and receievd air-play in Europe., France, australia,the netherlands,belgium,ect. i have also won a music Indie award for songwriting as well"that's what i hate about Love". my songs received alot of airplay in Australia. i got a little airplay in Nashville. not much here in the states. My music producer promoted mt in Cannes, France for many years. I opened for many famous bands in my life. one of them was Foghat, Great White, Bloomsburg Fair(opposite the stage of Reba and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts) The Trammps (disco inferno) and Bobby Darin. Mary Wilson of the Supremes is my mentor. i always looked up to her since age 5. i love life and love to travel. i love God and am very spiritual. i believe that dreams come true. all you have to do is believe!! :0) much love and peace, take care and Keep Rockin'!,love, Robyn :0)
