Obviously, DJ Igwaar knows a lot of famous Belgian people. Not only deejays, but also P-Magazine babes, TV stars, the royal family, and so on. He and partner in crime Gratts always get invited to the craziest drink-a-thons. Igwaar, jack-of-all-trades, has about 49 jobs (and 70 hobbies!). One of his jobs is linked to the Belgian soccer competition, and thus of course he is always in touch with all the sportsmen stardom. In the following movie, he is talking to soccer player Dupré. Because we noticed he was the only deejay in the world without a Myspace, our Igwaar fanbase decided to take matter into our own hands. This is the fantastic Igwaar biography that we found on the Moodclub website . That's because Igwaar is one of the Moodclub residents. He's probably the best, his skills are as follows: 2 x ( Pierre De La Riviere )² + (8 x Jonni Gratts ) - 2. This means he is a gifted deejay and the other Moodclub resident deejays all envy his talent.
''Igwaar has been around longer than doner kebab. He started getting into house music a decade ago by hearing tapes of legendary house nights at Silo club in Leuven. After a period of record collecting, mostly for home listening pleasure and a lot of time spent studying, he got out of rotation for a while. It wasn't until Gratts and Igwaar met up and eventually joined forces that they got on the road again, playing gigs ranging from bumpin' house venues to smaller and intimate bars or even straight-up local drinking competitions. Their styles adapted well to all of the above.
This reminds us of the time when Igwaar's place was trashed by evil trance deejays. Appauled by Igwaar's true love for the Opel Manta Gsi they peed on his latest Derrick Carter record, which was a fucking shame, because it really tied Igwaar's set together. Blinded by pain and agony he wanted to single-handed pee on all trance records, ONE BY ONE…The fitness gold member cards of these record-owners and the legendary words of Prof Dr. Roel Bellens ("you shouldn't extrapolate the past, you have to discount the future") obstructed him from carrying out this brilliant idea.
Today, Igwaar's one of the most versatile deejays you'll find downtown. Unlike many others he's not just focusing on this week's new releases, instead looking at the bigger picture and delivering a nice mixture of different styles. Igwaar's other hobbies include playing golf, scoring phone numbers and making babies, preferably all at the very same time. Get surprised by the real thing!''
