***DEBUT ALBUM - "RALLY 100 TOURISMO" - AVAILABLE FROM www.CabriniGreenMusic.com AND iTunes***

***RALLY 100 TOURISMO Reviewed in The Ticket, March 30th 2007*** "Dublin band CabriniGreen belatedly release their debut album, and it starts out with the sound of a band overly enamoured with REM. Very quickly, however, Rallly 100 Tourismo mutates into a different beast altogether, and the overall sound is of a group of people that has ingested the combined outpourings of The Flaming Lips, Explosions in the Sky, Radiohead and The Beatles. In other words, while experimentation is never too far away (though it is never too ostentatious either), neither is a keen sense of structure, cohesivness and melody. We like. Very much." Tony Clayton Lea, The Ticket, The Irish Times

***MORE ABOUT CabriniGreen*** CabriniGreen were formed in March 2002 upon Kevin Hickey’s return from exile in the U.K. following the not so amicable breakup of his band ‘The Magic Dragons’. Having stepped off the ferry in Dublin with only his guitar and a note book of scribbled lyrics he made his way to his brother’s apartment in Ranelagh looking for a ?oor to sleep on.
Waiting there with his brother Brian was a close friend, Dave Smith and as luck would have it the two were already working on new songs. Kevin sat in on the sessions and crate or so of Dutch Gold later CabriniGreen were formed.Since then the band have played a number of key gigs including the first Hard Working Class Heroes festival and a coveted slot on the Heineken Green Energy Weekend. They’ve also shared the bill with internationally renowned artists including The Church and The Clientele.
Part of the long gestation period for the debut album is linked to several personnel changes in the rhythm section, making them consider a name-change to The Cure or even Spinal Tap. Having recovered, CabriniGreen redirected their creative focus in 2006. Their toil was rewarded with the collection of songs that make up their debut album, Rally 100 Tourismo.
