A gifted songwriter, psalmist and author, Angela Moss Poole brings a fresh sound to contemporary gospel and worship music. Blending numerous musical genres ranging from classical to jazz to hip-hop and R&B, she transforms the music into a much needed, relevant, inspirational tool for today’s audiences. She has become known for her worship style as a vessel that God uses to make his presence known to the congregation. A nationally acclaimed writer, Angela’s songs were finalists in the GMA Music in the Rockies Conference placing 3rd and 5th in the nation for 2007 Song of the Year for both Praise and Worship and Urban Gospel categories and has earned a professional industry designation from the Gospel Music Association.Angela attended Florida A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree double-majoring in Accounting and Business Administration and then earned a Masters of Accounting degree from Florida State University. In 1999, she became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and opened her own accounting firm. She currently is the City Manager for the City of Midway, serves on the Audit Committee for the City of Tallahassee, as Treasurer of the Tallahassee Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. and the Finance Committee and Board of Directors of the Center for Biblical Studies.She and her husband Corey have been married for 12 years and are proud of their 10 year old son, Michael. They attend Metropolitan Cathedral of Truth in Tallahassee, Florida and serve under the leadership of Pastors Kennith and Helena Barrington. In 2007, they launched “THE SOUND of Tallahassee†a recording label and media center.
