a bunch of others, you probably know us...
Once upon a time Jay and I wanted to start a band that was a little of this and a little of that. So we got Kevin to play drums and wrote two songs that we were totally psyched on. At that time we started looking for a bassist and a singer, and Ben wanted to give singing a try. After a couple of fun practices making enough noise to get kicked out of our practice area, Kevin kicked himself out of the band. Moving into the position of management and spiritual advisor Kevin continues to be an asset to the For Decades machine. At this point Ben, being the all around awesome dude that he is, decided to do what he does best and moved to drums. So we kicked out the jams at Jay's house for a bit, all the while looking for a bass player and a singer. Ben and Jay suggested Nazi Joe (who isn't really a nazi, but plays one on t.v.) to be the bass player. Joe came to some practices and learned the songs real fast and was a righteous dude all together so he was in. We still needed a singer though, and after asking and/or trying out such stand up dudes as Nick Burns of Chuck Brunswick, Mike Poulin from Sluts fame, Brett Valego from Anartha and All I Can, and Matt Murdza from the infamous Boys Club, we came upon Mike McGee formerly of Perils Of Reasoning. Mike, who is also an all around good dude, was amped on the music and started writing words. Not too long after we started playing out, Mike joined the band The Network from New Hampshire, and since they're a full time band wasn't able to continue with us. Ben also left the band due to having no time because of work and such. Damien Tetrault stepped in on drums, formerly of I Am Disaster, D hits hard and is an awesome dude. So now I'm singing and we've added Bill Tolland also from IAD to play second guitar. All we want to do is hang out and play shows with our friends.
