About Me

Howdy folks! Welcome to the Kenfunky Tees MySpace page. My name is Jay Chuppe, and I'm a KY boy/Louisville native that now calls Western Kentucky home.
I'm also a freelance illustrator/cartoonist that has been working in the screenprinting industry for the last 15 years. In that time I've worked both full time for & developed freelance relationships with screenprinters/t-shirt companies all over the country. Chances are you've seen some of my tee artwork on shirts I did for some other company at any of your local retail chains (for art samples of this stuff & client list see my personal MySpace page and/or my website @ www.chuppeart.com).
This is my own personal tee line & company that I'm also launching, Kenfunky Tees.
These shirts are were all designed by me in Paducah, Printed by me in Murray, and even the inks were made in Louisville. Kept as much as I could in state.
We hope that we can build a fanbase across the state so that we can keep offering new designs & categories. We also want to know who you are if you like our shirts and hear from you. We're open to input & your ideas.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone that's interested in buying shirts as an individual or wholesale for statewide/regional retail. We basically want to produce shirts that we'd also actually like to wear. Our tees are also made by Kentuckians right here in the state and are printed on top quality blank tees with some of the best inks available. All of them are printed on Gildan 50/50s and printed with One Stroke Inks. Both of which are some of the highest quality products in the entire industry. No cheap products or corners cut like iron-ons and/or cheesy thin tees.

Coming soon will be all kinds of deals, photo contests, & input/response. We want to know all folk across the state that are sportin our stuff...and yes, we hope to keep expanding to offer other non-state related lines too. Future tee lines that we'd like to offer include bluegrass, environmental, political, & active outdoor (mt biking, climbin', hackey, etc.). We'll get there. We're just brand new & tryin to set up shop...so please keep checkin back for updates. THANKS!
