As a native Texan, Quinten resides in his home town of Dallas where his musical career began at an early age. He grew up surrounded by the influence of his father’s playing. He was exposed to all styles of music and has a great appreciation for blues, rock, jazz, country, soul and almost anything with a beat and a melody. Quinten attended the University of North Texas where he studied Jazz and Classical guitar, Composition and Music Theory. He performed with the prestigious Lab Bands as well as composed music for them which is still played to this day. As a Mesa Boogie Artist/Endorsee, Quinten focuses on creating definitively huge guitar sounds. He has been a demand in the studio scene and has worked with many heavy hitters in the musical arena. His latest work, “Reunion”, features some old friends like Will Lee, "The Letterman Late Show" veteran bass player, Grammy-award winning, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and founding member of the critically acclaimed Fab Faux. Will is internationally known as one of the best bass players on the planet and has played on over 450 discography's including greats such as Paul McCartney, Dave Matthews, Barbara Streisand, James Brown, Mariah Carey & Luther Vandross, just to name a few. Dan Wojciechowski, drummer extraordinaire. Not only did Dan record and tour with LeAnn Rimes for many years but has toured and recorded with other top-shelf artists such as Olivia Newton-John, Andy Timmons, and is currently on tour with the legendary Peter Frampton. Bradley Knight, known as the "Minister of Funk", is not only the staff arranger at Prestonwood Baptist Church but is most known for his hundreds of publications from years of writing for Brentwood-Benson publishing. These mighty musicians also joined Quinten on his critically acclaimed sophomore release,“Start of a New Day”, following his first works, “Aspects of the Soul”. “Reunion” is receiving rave reviews.
