It was all started from a friends-relationship which had a similar interest in football, beer and Oi! life-thought.
From that relationship, Soni, Djaey, D'bud and Epunx thought that they should form a band which had a strong-passion at playing Oi! genre.
So, they were these four 20 holes boots-wearing bois, forming an Oi! band named THE DUKE.Being arranged since 1999 in Bandung, west java-Indonesia, THE DUKE's first line-up were [SONI : VOICE] [DJAEY : LEAD GUITAR] [d'BUD : RHYTHM GUITAR] [DUDI : BASS] [EPUNX : DRUM] .
In the last 2005, due to his own reasonings, Soni decided to quit from the band.
After on, the vocal position was filled by Dudi.As time moved on, the bois had come to a decision that THE DUKE needed a single voice who had a really passionated and charismatic attitude. In a band's colloquy, Dudi had a thought of hiring DeniBulldog, a band's loyal mate who actually has always been hanging out with the band in bandung Oi! scene, to fill the voice of THE DUKE.
So, in the early 2009, DeniBulldog officially joined the band.
