Forming from the ruins of The Contra Code ( Killing Spree / Morgue House Records ) and Project Omega ,the experimental sound of Carry Your Cross is a new breed of metal, fusing death metal with hardcore, thrash and ambient. Kevin and Kenny met Steve through his old band, TCC. Steve ran sound for the band and gave his input on things. After Kenny quit The Contra Code, the band only lasted about another month before Kevin left too. Kevin and Steve got to talking on the way back from The Contra Code's last show and they decided it was time for them to start a project of their own. From there, they both knew that they wanted Kenny to play guitar for them. After Kenny had joined, songs were getting made. From there, the look for a second guitarist and bassist came. Luke came to try out, after a few days, Carry Your Cross had their second guitarist. After a long time of looking for a bassist that would be compatible, Carry Your Cross, found Matt. Steve and Kenny quit, in order to pursue diffrent goals in life. Matt moved to guitar and the band is on the look for a new singer and bassist.
