About Me

About

The word "ukuphambana" can be loosely translated from the African language Xhosa as "madness caused by a blow to the head." The treatment advised by some tribal doctors for such a condition is trepanation , that is, the opening of a hole in the skull.

I produce music under the name Ukuphambana as an antidote to the madness of an all-too-often boring and uninspired cultural environment. If you find yourself in the same situation, I recommend you open your mind to all new sounds (here and elsewhere) and continue listening.

Please Note

Most releases are available through the Voidstore or CD Baby .
