City Boy (
Derez Brown) born on July 21st in Manila, Phillipines. Currently residing in
Phoenix, Arizona. Enriched with African American & Vietnamese blood. He is currently known as the first Asian rapper hailing from Arizona. Started alongside with fellow Arizona rapper
T.C. as a duo known as "
AZ Boys". He has dropped over 15 mixtapes before the official album, "
P.H.X." had been released on November of 2008. A second album "
D.E.R.E.Z." is soon to be released Fall of 2009. Influenced by the likes of Fabolous,
Kanye West, The Notorious B.I.G., Cam' Ron & Eminem. Started rapping at the age of 11 and still going. Worked with the likes of Willy Northpole, JoJo & others. Most recognized for his summer of 2008 hit "
Shawty". Also, he had became inspiration to other
Arizona Asian MySpace rappers. Currently a part of the
Trill Talk/Trill Time Radio & Entertainment team. Style very much similar to Fabolous, Rebstar,
Drake and Lil Wayne.
