Razpa was formed in 2005 In Chapel Hill NC., Our main idea is to bring joy and happiness to the soul with the power of the Latin rhythm,, Our band itself is a diversity of Cultures, their integrants come from different countries like Guatemala, Honduras, United States, Venezuela , Mexico and Colombia. Razpa melodies and tunes have became more and more danceable and based in Rhytms like Salsa, Cumbia and twist of Funk and Metal punk… Razpa is the name of a percussion instrument known as "Guiro" in Puerto Rico but Razpa means more the Sound that the instrument do when being hit or SCRATCHED with the fork or comb. What generates the base of many Latin Rythms like Cumbia, Merengue and others. Razpa now brings new original tunes and we are ready to put North Carolina and the world to Dance.
