Halifax is a four-piece rock band from Thousand Oaks, California. They formed in 2002 and are currently signed to Drive-Thru Records. They achieved notable success with their 2004 EP A Writer's Reference (selling over 33,000 copies to date), after making a cameo appearance on MTV's The Real World: Austin. The band's second full-length album, The Inevitability of a Strange World, was released in May 2006. In December 2006, they won MTV2's Dew Circuit Breakout competition. They are currently working on recording a new album set for a late summer 2008 release. They have recently recorded demos with Tommy Henderiksen and Dwight Baker.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Official HALIFAX NewsAs you may or may not have heard, Mike has decided to leave the band. We part with him with a lot of mutual love, respect and understanding. We look forward to embracing the next chapter of Halifax with both a huge amount of appreciation for the last 5 years with Mike and the excitement of rising to the challenges that lay ahead to make Halifax shine brighter than ever. The band will be entering the studio this summer to record their new album with Chris taking over the lead vocal duties.Love,Halifax
