Rhianna’s Bio

I’m extremely terrible at arranging my thoughts, and it’s taken me awhile to start to write a bio. So apologies for the next few paragraphs...
I’ve been singing Spice Girls with pretend microphones since I was seven, but never did anything other than that. My freshman year of high school, around new years, my aunt’s boyfriend taught the G chord on guitar and it’s all been downhill since then.
I first sang in front of people auditioning for a show at my school my sophomore year of high school, I loved it. The next week I was in Annapolis singing at my first open mic. That’s when I figured out, I wasn’t an athlete, or a math wiz, or cool. I just wanted to play music.
I started writing more and more, and wanted something to share with people I played for. That’s when I began recording when I was 16. I went to Recording Arts in Virginia, and with the help of Marco Delmar and of course my mama, I recorded seven of my original tunes. It was stressful, frustrating, but load of fun. The end product was “The Only Thing I Can Doâ€. With the help of cd baby, my cd is available on iTunes, Amazon, Napster, and a jillion other places.
My senior year of high school I started venturing out of local venues, and traveled to Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, and Massachusetts, playing over 30 gigs. The summer before college was also so amazing. I was able to play in Utah and California, and meet some many amazing people.
Right now, I’m living in Boston and attending Northeastern U. I love it here. I’ve been influenced and sometimes playing with so many amazing, inspiring musicians. I just bought an electric guitar, and I’m extremely excited to write and change and then share my new music with you.
