The Joe Archer Quartet was formed in 2004. The group was made in order to play original material which is innovative and unique. We are a contemporary Jazz group, but we have many different influences from Stevie wonder to Jeff Buckley, to Pat Metheney.
We have played at Birmingham's Symphony Hall, Birmingham Artsfest, The Swan in Stratford Upon Avon to name a few.
The group plays "fresh" music. We are based around the West Midlands. New album now available from www.jazzcds.co.uk .
