I've done a ton of road work prior to '93 with Jerry Reed, Dobie Grey, Buffy St. Marie, Linda Davis, and also Bluegrass and Americana with J.D. Crowe and the New South, Boone Creek, Lonesome Standard Time, Pat Flynn and Buddy Greene. Last year I did a few dates with Big Machine artist Jimmy Wayne, filling in until he got his road band together. I've begun writing again and am looking into the wonderful world of Pro Tools!I consider myself blessed to work with such talent and am thankful for a long career. Influences: I was born and raised in Ironton Ohio, a small town in the southernmost area of the state that is actually in the Appalachia Region of the U.S. I grew up listening to James Brown and Ralph Stanley simultaneously!! ( Black Soul Music and White Soul Music) My prime Bass influences are: James Jamerson, Carol Kaye, Ray Brown, Tommy Cogbill, Norbert Putnam, Joe Osborne, Graham Maby, Nathan East, Abe Laboriel, Jeff Berlin, Duck Dunn, Paul McCartney, Rocco Prestia, Paul Chambers, Scott Lafaro, Jim Fielder, Chuck Rainey, Chris Squire and Jerry Jemmott.
