Okay, so i have to share with everyone the best news on the whole planet.... so let me start from the beginning. i have lived my whole life in search of a lie i chased after useless pleasures and dumb things of this world i was consumed with the "pleasures" of this world.... but no matter how many dumb things i did, nothing could EVER satisfy the emptiness inside. everything that i ran to for comfort just ended up hurting me and making me feel more and more alone..... i soon realized the stuff i was doing was not only hurting myself but more importantly hurting a amazing and beautiful God. i was in sin up to my neck... i had broken all of the ten commandments... i lied.... i stole even if it was just a pencil.... i commited adultery, the bible says that if you look upon a woman to lust after her you have commited adultery in your heart, i have murdered (in my heart) the bible says that if you hate someone you have murdered them in your heart, i had dishonored my parents, i had taken the holy and perfect LORD's name in vain.... I WAS DIRTY.... just like all of us. "NO one is good not even one!" Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I was trapped and damed for hell and there was NOTHING THAT I COULD DO AT ALL!!!! I had offened the King nothing i could do chould change that....... and then someone busted in my life and totally changed me around.......... he is a little old, about 2,000 years old JESUS... he was fully man and fully God and he came to this reched earth and lived a totally blameless life and was willing to let himself be crusified on a cross for us..... THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE was willing to suffer and DIE for us... but im not just talking about physical suffering, when he was hangging on that cross this man who was blameless before the father and had never done wrong was now feeling the horrible guilt of all of OUR sins he became sin for us and took the punishment. it is written ... "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." but in Galatians 3:13 it says "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us." HOW AMAZING!! That the LORD would be willing to die for us..... the lowest of the low. Remember John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not parish but have eternal life." Put your faith in him JESUS the Lion and the Lamb and he will never fail you, he is our only hope because we are all evil! Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works out for the good of those who trust him."
But salvation takes a death to self. As I have explained, the fiberes that make up who we are as people are all evil... ITS WOVEN INTO WHO WE ARE! The apostle Paul talkes about how we who are saved are crusified with Christ.... he says that our sinful nature is to be put to death. We cant do this, our efforts are never enough. But John tells us that the one who is in us (The Triune God) is more powerful than the one of the world (Satan). Only God can rip out this evil at work in us. Its a veil that only He can take down but as the great A.W. Tozer once wrote "We must invite the cross to do its deadly work in us." In the book the Pursit of God by A.W. Tozer, he writes "Let us remember: when we talk of the rending of the veil we are speaking in a figure, and the thought of it is poetical, almost pleasant; but in actuality there is nothing pleasant about it. In human experience that veil is made of living spiritual tissue; it is composed of the sentient, quivering stuff of which our whole beings consist, and to touch it is to touch us where we feel pain. To tear it away is to injure us, to hurt us and make us bleed. To say otherwise is to make the cross no cross and death no death at all. It is never fun to die. To rip through the dear and tender stuff of which life is made can never be anything but deeply painful. Yet that is what the cross did to Jesus and it is what the cross would do to every man to set him free."
