Rising Records

About Me

Rising Records began life in late 2003, with it's first releases in September 2004. Since then it has become established as one of the leading independent labels in the UK. Achievements to date include Metal Hammer and Kerrang awards nominations in 2006, a Metal Hammer award nomination in 2007, and a Best Underground band nomination for Trigger The Bloodshed at the 2008 Metal Hammer awards, to be held in June. This year Rising Records have teamed up with Metal Hammer for a label cover mount CD, featuring fifteen tracks from the current roster which is on the issue out in May, as well as sponsoring the award for Best Live Band at the 2008 Golden Gods. Rising Records artists have toured as support for bands such as Trivium, Slipknot, Cradle Of Filth, Dragonforce, Napalm Death, Bleeding Through, Avenged Sevenfold, Dying Fetus, Suffocation, See You Next Tuesday, and Head Automatica. We are constantly on the lookout for new bands. Please send your demo, biog and photo to Rising Records, PO Box 848, Ipswich, IP1 9LE. Please do not message us asking us to listen to your tracks on myspace and/or come to see a show - you need to send us a demo first.
