About Me

Anne Kristin is a country artist from Norway. She writes her own lyrics and most of the music. Together with her brother Bjorn Peder she went to Nashville in September 2001 to record 12 songs, as she did back in 1992. In August 2002 the CD "Wild mountain callin" was released on the label of Rocade Records.
The CD contains 12 songs - written by Anne Kristin and her brother Bjorn Peder, and 2 songs by a famous American songwriter who lives in Norway called R.C. Finnigan. Anne Kristin has got a lot of positive comments on her own songs, among them "I remember Patsy Cline" (a tribute to the great countrysinger) and "Autumn Sunday". Anne Kristin says that she could not have done this CD without the help of her brother, who is also a co-producer on the CD.
In the spring of 2003 the song “I remember Patsy Cline was promoted by Comctock Records in Arizona, and by July the song had reached #22 at the National Country Charts in USA and by September been 10 weeks on the ECMA Top Country list of Europe. In August Stardust Records promoted the same song to even 1500 more radio stations, and in October the same promotion company will promote the song “Autumn Sunday”. Both these songs are composed by Anne Kristin herself, and she is really happy to see the people around the world loves her songwriting.
The CD "I've got dreams" was released on her own label in Norway back in 1993, and Anne Kristin appeared on several national television stations and radioshows. She also had a video which was shown on Country Music Television for 2 months.
