Cecily Tonge is a talented singer/songwriter, born and raised in Texas. She currently attends UNT in Denton, Texas and is a Merchandising major. Cecily has been singing all her life. She enjoys all facets of music, and is always interested in new vocal techniques and styles, her favorite however is pop rock!!
Cecily first started recording just for the fun of it. She says, "I just wanted some of the songs I have written on a CD so when I'm older and have kids I can show them and say 'This is what I did when I was younger.' Hopefully they'll like it!". She hopes to get signed with a record label so that more people can be exposed to her music.
Cecily attributes much of her success to her friends and family because "without their support I probably wouldn't have had the confidence to get in the studio and record." Cecily currently works with Brian Rockwell and Mark Mock from Rockwell Music, and Geoff Rockwell from Rockwell Audio, who has worked with FTSK (Universal Records), Young and Divine (Ultrax Records), and Red Car Wire (Universal Records). Together, they have been writing lyrics, songs, and making music since 2005. They make one rockin’ team.
