Greg Diloné

First generation American-born son of French & Spanish-Arab descended parents from the Caribbean island city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Greg is the middle child between elder siblings, Fabiola and Polibio Jr., and younger siblings Eduardo and Jose. His parents migrated to the United States in pursuit of the "American Dream". His Father Polibio, who became to be a leading Physician and Surgeon, arrived alone in New York first with a longing for his family, and the percussion playing days he had to leave behind. A year later he was able to send for his wife Ramona and new-born son Polibio Jr.. Three year old daughter Fabiola arrived by plane a few months later to complete the family. The following Christmas morning, new edition Gregorio was born the first American Dilone'. (pronounced: dee-low-nay) Greg has remarked , "Since I can remember at weekend parties my Dad and I would play percussion instruments along to his collection of hundreds of records while spanish couples danced until the morning. Along with the lessons my Dad taught me, all I have left of him today is his record collection and the instruments I play. I can feel his spirit smiling down on me at every show. I wish the audience could feel the same..Ahmen" Greg married his high school soul-mate, Michele, and have three childeren, Greg Jr., Nichole, and Phillip.
