GUNPLAY GANGSTAZ:
Gunplay Gangstaz was formed in tha mid 90'z between three childhood friends. While the rest of the streets in Erie was listening to concious rap, we was bumping that gangsta shit. Our lifestyle was gangsta so our music preference was the same. Between the drug game, shoot outs, & run-ins with the law, we found the time to put our life on wax. We actually was the second generation of rap artists to emerge out of the Erie streets, & is still very relevant in the music scene here. The original members: Garceon Da Don, Gangsta Dutch, & Quack G have laid down the ground work for the following generations of artists. Assisted by the homie, E-Bizzness, Gunplay Gangstaz has evolved into Gunplay Records, & managed to open for a list of artists. We kick that gangsta shit, live that gangsta shit, cuz we gangstaz. We prided ourselves as making that East Coast Gangsta Music, if you listen to it, you can tell that its very gangsta. Now the label has went through some changes & the sound is a little different, but still gangsta shit! Now we have a few generations of artists so we are able to reach a wider range of audience.
