Okay, let me think how to put this. I wouldn't call myself socially retarded, but tact isn't exactly my strong suit and depending on my mood (and my state of sobriety) I can come off as either an introverted loner or a motormouth. I wouldn't classify myself as a "nice guy" but try to avoid being an asshole, being as there already enough of those in the world. I'm not going to say I know what people think of me based on my appearance, but they often seem surprised upon finding out a few things about me. I'm not a know-it-all, but I do pretty well in what classes I do take, primarily because I take education a lot more seriously when I'm paying for it. I work on Toyotas in San Jose, but I'm thinking of getting out of the automotive field, partly because I just don't plan on wrenching the rest of my life, partly because of health concerns with all the chemicals and carcinogens, and partly because I'm sick of telling new acquaintences that I work on cars and hearing, "oh, you know, my car has this problem when ..." It's not like I can help you even if I did want to hear about it when I'm off, which I don't. If all goes well, my band, Dammit! , can really get off the ground. We've had a few gigs, but I still need a day job for the time being...
