Derek Martin is one of Edinburgh/Scotlands most renowned House DJs and promoters.
Promoter and resident DJ of the late and legendary PROGRESSION club from 2000 - 2006, and more recently MUSIKA.

Played alogside the likes of Steve Angello, Erick Morillo, Layo & Bushwack, D Ramirez, DeepDish, Eric Prydz, etc..

Regularly playing all over Scotland with guests spots all over England, guested at the mighty, 8000 capacity, Tribal Gathering weekender in Manchester in 2003, completed a tour in America throughout the Golden state of California in 2005 and guest slots throughout Europe from Poland to Ibiza.

Some recent top UK guest slots have included Ministry of Sound in London for Pete Tongs ‘Wonderland’, Shindig @ Digital, Newcastle, RPM @ The WhiteHouse, London to name a few……….

Influences: From the early rave days to underground Trance/Techno in the mid nineties thru to Prog House which played a heavy influence in my early DJ years, the likes of Howells, Deepdish, Pappa, Quivver, Sasha & Diggers, Steve Lawler, etc... Influenced by the West Coast/San Fran to deep house vibe with Halo & Hipp-E, Joeski, Onionz, etc for a good few years....
