I originally came from Sheffield. (Steel City)(Beighton actually, it's a small coal-mining village just outside). I didn't take up music until I was 28. I was in Darwin Australia working as a chef and feeling very artistically frustrated. I was around some good people at the time. One of those people was a East Timorean guy called John Mu. He said "It doesn't matter how many years you've been playing but how many hours and minutes you can dedicate to the fret board". I will never be able to thank that guy enough, not just for the advice but for the encouragement and especially the loan of a guitar for the first 3 months that I'd started playing. I don't know if I've caught up and who would I catch up to and so now I realise that this isn't a race ... its art. Its love. Its music . I don't consider myself to be a great. have not been, will not be but I do thank God for all the moments that have led up to me .... writing or completing the songs for the CD while living in Spain for 6 months, Rehearing the CD while living in a transit van for 6 months( parked all over Cornwall ),Recording the CD at 2FLY studios in Sheffield with Alan Smythe in 2003. Getting the CD cover done professionally by Stone only just recently and then Finally doing this Web-page. Looking forward to my future.I Love Life. I don't want to die. I don't fear death but I do fear having to face any wasted moments when I take my last breath. God bless you all and I hope you live your dream as I have for the past 23 years.In regards to MY-SPACE : I am not a big friend collector. I will only have friends who manage their own pages and make an effort to keep in touch. I prefer quality to quantity. I think Tom Petty is amazing but it's obvious that he's not managing his own pages and therefore I see no point in having him as a friend. To all the ones who are up there now.
