About Me

The DGB's new album "Victory Song" is available now, click HERE for purchasing options.
Rock-alternatif melodique avec des couilles. Le pouvoir et l'émotion des guitares des années 90 mêlé À l'attitude rock des années 70.
The DGB is a high-energy rock and roll band. Explosive fury and danger and a raw uplifting power that makes the room come alive. It's all about attitude and keeping it real. The power and emotion of 90’s rockers such as Nirvana or the Smashing Pumpkins, crossed with the bluesy rock and roll of Led Zeppelin or the Who. Powerful, sing along alt-rock choruses, danceable rock and roll rhythms, a bit of a punk edge, and fresh sounding modern vocals.
The DGB started up in 2001, playing off the wall acoustic drone rock. Over the years and albums since, a transformation was happening. The sound got louder, the songs got catchier, and the crowds got crazier. All that led to “Victory Song”, the bands 5th full length album, and a new beginning. The band went into the studio knowing exactly what they wanted, and came out getting exactly that. Radio quality, but not too polished. The record still has the live sound that makes the songs so powerful.
In 2008, the group toured to the East Coast of Canada and back, and played tonnes of shows around Ontario and Quebec. This year, the band will be touring to both coasts of this fine country, and plan to hit every major city in Canada (and some small towns too). The record will have worldwide distribution through CD Baby and their many affiliates and the band will be getting the word out any way possible; shows, press, radio, web, and all means necessary. We plan to make 2009 a victorious year for the DGB.

Tour Blog #8 - I can't talk, but still can rock

June 20th was a huge day in rock. Seems like there was a music festival or party or huge show in every town. We had some hefty competition, but had a pretty good show despite all that. St. Andrews is ...

Tour Blog #7 - I've been down to St. Andrews

As stated before, Moncton was interesting. Very random crowd at the bar, I didn't go into much detail about them before. We had one guy who supposedly owns three clubs in Montreal and wants to book ...

We left Fredericton pretty well right after Jon..s massage. Off to Miramichi it was. We are fish at the bar and then set-up. The place was tiny, we knew that already, but they were more concerned abou...

When I finished my last blog we decided to go for dinner. And to treat ourselves and go to a restaurant. We thought about eating at Crumbs but they only had sandwiches and wraps, and we've eaten so ma...

After a good nights rest in Plaster Rock, and a couple of hearty meals, we headed our way to Saint John. Sunday Nights aren't the easiest nights to book, but we found an open mic at a place called C...

Tour Blog # 2 - Plaster ROCK!!!

So, as said, I accidentally pulled an all nighter after Toronto, but we slept in a parking lot in Grand Falls last night, which wasn't too bad. We fought over the more comfy seats in the van, but no...
